Project Description
Urban Transformation through Plantation was a community-driven initiative aimed at revitalizing urban areas by planting a diverse range of plants in Urban 5 area of Kohat, Pakistan. This project seeks to enhance the aesthetic appeal, environmental health, and overall quality of life in urban neighborhoods.
Project Objectives
- Increase Green Spaces: Expand green areas within the city to provide residents with more natural, serene environments.
- Improve Air Quality: Plantation of plant species that help reduce air pollution and improve air quality.
- Community Engagement: Involve local communities in the planting process to foster a sense of ownership and responsibility towards urban green spaces.
- Educational Outreach: Educate residents about the benefits of urban greenery and sustainable practices.
