Project Description
The One-Day Free Physiotherapy Camp, organized by SNP Welfare Foundation, provided essential physiotherapy services to the local community. With a team of one female and two male physiotherapists, the camp focused on offering treatments for musculoskeletal pain, improving mobility, and educating participants on rehabilitation techniques to promote long-term physical health and well-being.
Project Objectives
- Provide Physiotherapy Services: Offer professional consultations and treatments for pain relief, joint mobility, and overall physical rehabilitation.
- Increase Awareness: Educate the community about the benefits of physiotherapy for injury recovery, pain management, and maintaining physical health.
- Promote Preventive Care: Guide participants on exercises and techniques to prevent physical ailments and improve quality of life.
Project Activities
- Physiotherapy Assessments: One-on-one evaluations of musculoskeletal conditions, joint pain, back pain, posture issues, and mobility concerns.
- Therapy Sessions: Practical physiotherapy treatments, including joint mobilization, stretching exercises, and posture correction techniques.
- Health Education Talk: A session with physiotherapists discussing the importance of physiotherapy in managing chronic pain and improving physical mobility.
- Home Care Recommendations: Personalized advice on exercises, posture improvements, and lifestyle changes to support long-term health.
- Distribution of Educational Materials: Handouts and pamphlets with tips on injury prevention, posture correction, and maintaining physical well-being.
Project Outcomes:
21 individuals received physiotherapy consultations and treatments.
Increased awareness of physiotherapy’s role in preventing and managing health issues.
Empowered individuals with the knowledge of maintaining better physical health through regular physiotherapy and preventive care.
Strengthened community engagement with SNP Welfare Foundation’s health initiatives.
